SAFT Impact: Case Study

UrbanTreeFormatted

When Lina called me today to confirm the final details in our South African Freedom Trust loan to crucially pay each of our team a weekly R750 each for the next 15 weeks a wave of emotion washed over me as I realised what had just happened, I was overwhelmed with a sense of relief to the point of tears and it took me more than a moment to compose myself as the broader extent of this your truly powerful gesture that SAFT so graciously has done for each and every one of us and for our small yet intimate business – words cannot describe in enough detail what you are doing for literally thousands of small businesses in our country and I am sure for 100’s of thousands of families across our land, from just one such team we thank you so much each and every one of us thank you.

UrbanTREE is a 500 Seater Stylish Sandton Banqueting and Awards Venue and rooftop garden, with standing capacity of more than 1200 guests for unique launches, engaging events and powerful staff experiences as well as private celebrations, and with the necessary recent social distancing regulations coming into being and the strict restrictions as to the size of group gatherings specifically  not exceeding 100 people being allowed, we at UrbanTREE have been forced to close temporarily, for how long is anyone’s guess right now – however our wish is to continuing paying our gentle and generous team and so SAFT’s financial assistance has come as such a huge welcome relief to us and will go such a long way to our business hopefully being able to make it to the other side of this  pandemic and to trade again, we cannot thank you enough South African Freedom Trust, bless you for your magnanimous action so far.
